Kraków is Poland's cultural and historic capital, with a creative industry that has grown around games, animation, design, and a film and television production scene serving European and international clients. Studios and agencies cluster in Kazimierz, Podgórze, and the Zabłocie post-industrial belt; the medieval centre and Wawel anchor location shoots. Talent works in Polish and English, runs at international finish standards, and tends to deliver more flexible budgets than Western European capitals.

Kraków eats Polish with depth: pierogi (regional fillings count), żurek, oscypek with cranberry jam, obwarzanek from the street, plus a serious milk-bar (bar mleczny) tradition that still feeds students and pensioners affordably. Vodka is taken seriously; visit a proper bar in Kazimierz. Public transport (trams and buses) is solid; the Old Town is closed to traffic. Sundays bring trading restrictions.
